1:1 Nutrition Coaching for High School Athletes

Reach your performance goals faster with a personalized nutrition plan.

Each athlete’s nutrition journey is different! Let’s make sure we are a good fit.

Are you a sport parent who says:

“My athlete doesn’t listen to me when it comes to nutrition.”

Teenage athletes…

Refuse to listen to what their parents have to say.

Believe feeling exhausted is normal since they are an athlete.

Lack credible nutrition resources.

Or are you a sport parent who thinks:

“I don’t even know where to start when it comes to fueling my athlete.”

As parents, it’s okay NOT to have all the answers. This is your first time fueling a teenage athlete so having questions or feeling overwhelmed is part of it. It’s time to rely on a nutrition expert (like me!) for guidance, tips, and answers when it comes to nourishing your athletes body for success.

REGISTERED DIETITIAN NUTRITION COACH

I’ve seen athletes struggle to meet their performance goals because their nutrition has fallen short. Sport parents and athletes didn’t know about how simple, everyday nutrition tweaks can add up over time that would make a BIG impact on their sport performance.

I used to be the athlete that didn’t listen to their parents when it came to nutrition. Now as a Registered Dietitian, I build trust with my athletes, listen, and provide easy-to-implement strategies they can try right away. I have been working exclusively with high school athletes for over 7 years; let me guide you with flexible fueling strategies that support a growing athlete AND real-life sport schedules.

By investing in your athlete NOW, you can…

Support proper fueling that helps lower injury risk and improve recovery.

Reduce the chance of nutrition-related setbacks like low energy availability, iron deficiency, and hormone disruptions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sports do you work with?

Most of the athletes I work with are year-round and/or multi-sport athletes. This includes, but not limited to, football, basketball, baseball, cross country, track and field, softball, tennis, hockey and lacrosse.

Is this appropriate for high school athletes?

Yes. This program is designed specifically for high school athletes, taking into account growth, development, training demands, and busy school schedules. Nutrition guidance is age-appropriate, performance-focused, and supportive of long-term health.

Will my athlete get a meal plan?

Your athlete will receive personalized guidance on how to build balanced meals and snacks that fit your family’s routine. This approach helps athletes develop meal planning skills and confidence around food choices.

How involved do parents need to be?

Parents play an important support role, especially when it comes to grocery shopping and meals at home. Parents will receive clear, practical guidance so you can support your athlete.

What if my athlete is a picky eater?

That’s very common. Coaching focuses on progress, not perfection. We work with foods your athlete already enjoys and gradually build variety in a realistic, supportive way.

Can this help with low energy or poor performance?

Absolutely. Many athletes struggle with energy, recovery, and consistency. Coaching helps identify gaps and create a fueling strategy that supports training and competition.

Do you work with multi-sport athletes?

Yes. Nutrition plans adapt as training volume, intensity, and seasons change—whether it’s in-season, off-season, or multi-sport participation.

Is this about weight loss or body composition?

The focus is on fueling for performance, growth, and recovery. Weight-focused goals are not emphasized. The priority is helping athletes feel strong, energized, and confident in their bodies.

How often will my athlete meet with you?

Coaching includes regular check-ins. This typically means a virtual session or direct messaging once per week. This allows for adjustments as training, school, and schedules evolve.

Do you accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Yes. Nutrition guidance can be adapted for allergies, intolerances, and personal or family preferences while still supporting performance.
